“Jules” SteamPunk Piano
Meet “Jules”, a Steam Punk inspired piano. Jules takes its name from Jules Verne, the 19th century French author of Journey to the Center of the Earth (1864), Twenty Thousand Leagues Under the Sea (1870), and Around the World in Eighty Days (1873). The sculptural art piano was created in the fall of 2017 and is now located at The Courtyard Plaza in downtown Stockton. Jules is a functional musical instrument and is one of the “Music to Our Ears” pianos program sponsored by the Downtown Stockton Alliance.
